Machining Bimetals and other stuff.

Bimetal components put hard materials in select wear areas surrounded by or mixed with softer alloys which is not caused by most other materials. They happen to be gaining a lot of popularity in the automotive industry and all over the place, and they pose special machining challenges. Screw machine parts are amazing peices of material. The CBN inserts cut alloys with greater than 50 Rc hardness can fracture if they hit softer materials. PCD inserts are able to machine abrasive aluminum and can suffer excessive wear cutting ferrous metals. And we all know how good that is. I have found that at Amark Industries they can really make straight cut wire and screw machine wire well.
If you need straight cut wire, Screw machine parts, Wire Forms, Escomatic Tinned copper wire, or Brass EDM wire then we are the chioce for you!!
